Totems are a large part of our culture and therefore we include them. Now in order to have a totem you'll have to have a ceremony where the Shamaness meditates on which totem is correct for you. It may be some of the few listed below or you can look over more totems and their meanings here. You can then talk to the Shamaness about which totem you feel best suits you and she will take this into consideration during her meditation. There will be a totem ceremony and your totem will be announced to the whole tribe.
